Pictures, baggies, masking tape, a Sharpie.
Snap a photo or 2.
take something apart,
Either put it in the baggie, or just put a piece of tape on it,
Write it down, ABC-123
Sometimes with the smaller screws on bigger parts I'll wrap them in tape then tape the whole wad to the backside, and write it down.

Well I finally got started last night. Here's some pics. I worked on it for an hour or so and I figure I am about halfway on the tear down. I went a little farther than these pics show, but I want to put as many of them up as possible as I go through all the steps. Boring stuff so far.

I attached all the nuts and bolts back onto all the pieces they came off of unless they didn't have a way to attach as some are self threaded so those went into a coffee can and a mental note. Maybe I need to pull them back out and mark them with some tape. If there is anything that stands out fromt he pics or general questions please ask away because I am learning everything as I go!
