36 to 48 volt
I have a 2001 Club Car that I picked up 2 days ago and my competition was to change to 48 volt from a 36 volt resistor car. This is what he did,Put in new 48 volt batteries,a 48 volt motor, and a OBC that he hooked to the A2 onthe motor and dont know what he did with the motor cable.Have not got a chance to look it over real good yet.It does not run and just the old solenoid clicks. The batteries are interstate and just pouring acid everywhere, had to put it outside.Has anybody got an idea what this man was trying to do?

Re: 36 to 48 volt
Yes... they used a resistor cart all the way up until 1994... then they used a Solid State Controller and also offered the resistor car in the same year... You could get either or.... in 95, they went back with the resistor car and used it all the way up until they discontinued the 36Volt system in 2004.
