Default 94 Club Car W/ Controller

I have a 94 Club Car 36V with a controller, not the resistor coils. It was running fine, then on the way back to the house it just stopped. I mean stopped, like a wire was disconnected. I traced out each cable and wires to every thing. The only thing I could find, the micro switch in the v-glide was broken. I replaced it, and as soon as I pressed the accelerator it fried the micro switch again. Any ideas?
