Default 94 Club Car W/ Controller

I have a 94 Club Car 36V with a controller, not the resistor coils. It was running fine, then on the way back to the house it just stopped. I mean stopped, like a wire was disconnected. I traced out each cable and wires to every thing. The only thing I could find, the micro switch in the v-glide was broken. I replaced it, and as soon as I pressed the accelerator it fried the micro switch again. Any ideas?

Scottyb... after last night I'm not saying another word about prices to anybody. It took 24 hours before it would even let me back on here.
