Default exide batteries ???

Dealer has ENERGY POWER batteries and sells them as EXIDE E-4800 batteries. Are Energy Power batteries the same as exide with a different label ? The batteries do not have exide on them anywhere ???

Could very well be. In any case steer clear of these. They are a cheap batteries. Go for Crown, US Battery, or Trojan. Trojan being your last choice of the big three because their quality has slipped some. The best battery available is Crown battery.

Exides are good as I have been selling them for 5 yrs, But the sticker on the side says what they are as they always label them this way.I sell crown to and they are great.Stay away from interstate as they leak really bad.

I have actually already bought the ENERGY POWER batteries. Was told they were EXIDE E4800. The receipt also says they are EXIDE E4800. I didn't notice that they didn't have EXIDE on the batteries at all until I installed them. Can't find anything on web about ENERGY POWER batteries. Does anyone know where I can find the specs on these type batteries?
