Differential Lube
I’m installing a high torque D&D motor on my cart. The manual calls for 30W or higher lube in the differential. Would there be any benefit to jumping up to the 75W high pressure gear lube I use in my outboard’s lower unit with the high torque motor.
Thanks in advance, Frankie |

Re: Differential Lube
Frankie ..... I think the real advantage lies in switching to synthetic 30w oil....... You may never need to change it again... the light30w oil is needed as this is a splash lube system.... so NO on the heavier oil.... I hope this helps?

Re: Differential Lube
Scotty,
I was wondering who the heavy oil would affect the splash lube. Thanks for the expert advice. |

Re: Differential Lube
I used 30w synthetic. Synthetic is more expensive, but we are talking less than a quart.
