Alltrax pulsing
I put in a DCX500 about 4 weeks ago. It's ran great, but in the last week I noticed it seems to pulse or surg a bit when driving, doesn't do it so much on wide open throttle. Any thoughts to why this would start?
Is this controller or MCOR? or something else? |

Re: Alltrax pulsing
Is the problem on 2001 club car shown in your avatar or another year and model? I was called last night about a similar problem in an 1996 Regen older club car and found that the mcor conversion unit was causing problem.

Re: Alltrax pulsing
Are the mcors a better unit the the old multi-step pots? I discovered mine to be bad as was going to do the upgrade, but see a lot of issues on here with them.

Re: Alltrax pulsing
Just to close out the thread, it was the MCOR, replaced tonight and it's running smoother than ever!

Re: Alltrax pulsing
They're all over the place but most tend to be around $180.00 but I have seen them over $200, but being the cheap guy that I am I searched ebay and found a brand new one for 89.99. Sold some air shocks on here so it only cost me $50.
