Default Help please.

I have a 06 CC Precedent, I am trying to set it up for more speed, I was told I need to give them my serial # which is on the tag on the right side of the dash, my tag has been removed. Is there any other serial # on the cart, does this also mean I can never get more speed.
Also if i can not get the speed turned up can i buy a aftermarket brain to go faster..... Thanks.

look under the dash the bottom side it might be uder there if not you will have to take it to a dealer so they can hook up the reader for the # . If you see three #'s under the dash like 144-219-133 then speed code #4 has been installed and should run 19 mph. but the dealer will be able to tell you if not set to #4 they will charge for the code.

1. What is your current speed, (what code do you have... 1,2,3?)

2. Speed Code 4 with 22" tires will get you 21.3 tops. With 18" tires around 19.7 give or take.

3. Plum Quick Purple Motor for $225 with speed code 3 will get you 25/26 MPH with 22" tires and 23/24 with 18" tires... and you don't have to worry about a serial number!

Smile Re: Help please.

I have an '05 Precedent, and there is another location for the serial #

Remove the big floor mat and the black triangular piece right behind the pedals. Look to rear at the crossmember (running right to left), and under the brake cables should be another serial # tag. Mine is white with black letters.

Have fun! Dave

You can tell what code by your speed:

14.7=Code 3 So if you are near the 15mph mark with stock tires you have Code 3.
