Well, lets put some updates on this thing. Ended up being a combination of bad V-glide and FnR switch, definitely a salt water cart. Replaced both of them after some troubleshooting and now it runs like a champ for a 36v cart. Now lies another deli-ma, the customer refuses to pay, so I worked something out and now the cart is basically mine.

So what to do to it, I am thinking of a lift with some 22" tires, rear bed, and some 4 gauge coils for this thing, and of course a lift, let's put new bushings in the front for this thing and add a jake's six inch lift. Any ideas from you all. This will be my first DS to lift so I am open to any goofy ideas, just no fruit loops.

Click on Ike's link in my sig for what it took to save a hurricane drowned rat.. Sounds like an Ike casualty found it's way to your area.. They are still popping up on Craigslist here in Houston from time to time..

I used a Jake's 3" lift, with 20/10/10 turf tires on steel rims.. Powertrain is a GE D395 (Beast) churning 8:1 HS gears, fed by an Alltrax AXE 500 amp controller thru 4 ga. welding cable.. Top speed with a fresh charge is a hair under 28MPH by the GPS, will cruise all day at a solid 25MPH..

I did think about that Scotty, but now as much as I want to get rid of it, I kinda want to change it so it does not look the same, so when I do sell it, the poor bassssterd does not even recognize it.

I hope I do not get in trouble for that last statement.

some people get to the point where they can afford a mercedes, by nickle and diming every poor ******* that walks their way, and raping everyone that buys anything from them. - hence the getting the golf cart free (rape- probably talked some poor schmuck into believing he was doing him a favor by taking it off his hands), and nickle and diming you (you're the poor schmuck that he is expecting to do this for free/or close to it).

if he keeps complaining, figure up what you have into it, tell him to pay up and F*** off; go buy a new one.

people like this piss me off

He basically got his lawyer involved and he basically bullied me, well not really but I am just tired of dealing with it already. I told him I would pay him for the charger $100, or we can go to court, pay the bill, plus storage fees @ $15 per day for 60 days = $900, he took the $100.00 and signed a paper stating he claimed no ownership of the cart. I think I already have a buyer, they saw it a week ago, told them then I could not sell it, but called them this week and told them it was available, but they are camping this week so will see what next week brings. I know makes no sense but no court stuff, have enough on my plate right now, don't need the extra headache.
