Default Need to some help everyone!

OK Guys give me some direction on this one. Customer brought this cart (2000 CC DS 36v) to me not running and with four flat tires, and the rear wheels locked up. We had to remove the batteries from the cart just to get it out of the PU. The old trojans were dated K4 which I told him they were toast.

Got the rear end up off the ground first to see why the rear end was locked up. The wheels would spin freely but not forward or reverse together. I unbolted the motor which ended up coming apart in two pieces. I then sent motor off to Plum Quick for a rebuild.

Started by rebuilding the main set of wires for the cart, most of them were corroded and not worth a crap. Started by putting PB on a bunch of the bolts so they could come off, still ended up breaking one of the resistor coil standoffs.

Installed new batteries, got the motor in, wired up from one of the stickies here on the forum, no go. Talked to Scotty about it stated check the micro, changed that in the V-glide, reinstalled batts. When you first put the cart in forward the solenoid clicks and the cart wants to instantly go forward, but when you depress the pedal it starts to go in reverse, it does the same thing the opposite way.

I am attaching some pics for everyone to see.

For never having worked on a CC cart before at least resistor coil type I am a loss for what is happening with the cart. Scotty asked about the v-glide I have no reference on what a good one should look like compared to another one, so here are some additional pics. I am not above saying I made a wiring mistake as well. Thanks for all those who respond.

OH by the way the customer got the cart for free, and is already complaining of needing to buy new batteries. I picked up the charger from him yesterday, he showed up driving a M class Mercedes If I would of picked the cart up myself I would replace all electronics in this cart to begin with, cart appears it could have been a flood at one time or another.

As far as direction problems, I had the same thing happen to me. I wired it just how the stickys said. I had to swap the cables around on the motor to make forward forward and reverse reverse. I think it is the S1-S2 cables.

This was an ez-go cart, but I don't see a difference compared to a CC.

Ya that part of swapping the cables around had already crossed my mind, but being a CC wanted to ask first, then go forward.

I guess I should point out as well, I noticed this time when I took the V-glide cover off, I noticed that the sweeper arm does not come down fully, I had to manually push it down, I am guessing it needs to go, but wait and see what you think.

Cart tries to go when you put it in gear? Bad activation circuit? Bad solenoid? V glide looks to okay.... Not melted contacts etc? The V glide micro should activate the solenoid......

Change the rear end lube? 30w.

No melted contacts, V-glide is activating the solenoid, Is the little white box a Pot box, could it be bad???

Still need to change the rear end oil, was on my list of to do's, BTW how much oil does that thing hold.

I don't know what the little white box is what does it connect to on the solenoid?

If the V glide activates the solenoid then how is is it moving without this activation..... solenoid must be closed all the time? that is a problem.

Gotta go, hopefully somebody else can help more for now, later.... (dog to the vet)
