keg needs help
ok guys still new at this, so here we go
2004 cc ds all new cables new bats. when i plug the charger in it comes on then of then on again for about 3 min. then off i have tryed to reset the obc and i get no backup buzzer to come on during the reset- the buzzer works fine when in reguler operation, I have installed a volt meter that shows in the charged section unless in operation . When charging and running the orange light keeps blinking. cart seems to run fine but im not sure why the light keeps coming on and not sure if I am getting a charge to the bats. I have 6 8 vot bats and each one show 8.2v at the motor and I am not sure I am doing this right I have 47.8v with the charger not on 48.8 with it on. Can it be that i have not run the bats down enough to make the cahrger run longer. Or can it be a obc? if the OBC is out will the cart still run? |

Re: keg needs help
Bats are new interstate. checking with a dc meter I show 8.2 and If ichacked it right at the motor I have 47.8.
But with a bad obc will the car still run? I will recheck the installment and let you know thanks for the help again. |

Re: keg needs help
47.8 tells me the batts are in series correctly. The cart runs F&R so they are connected okay? Have you run it a little like 30 ft F&R ? It is either a bad obc or Charger. Was the light doing this with the old set?
Try your charger on a good cart or borrow a good charger to see how it works on your cart... this is the easiest way for most people to determine if the cart or the charger is the problem..... What was it doing before you changed the batteries? |

Re: keg needs help
Thanks for the reply
The cart runs fine F/R, When I got it the old bats had dry cells and the cables where falling off. the first time I tryed to charge it the charger ran all day and all night, Thats when I decided to replace all the bats and wires. Maybe I am not letting it die down enough for the charger to stay on? there is a place I think I can rent a charger from and will try that. But again can you tell me if the obc is bad will the cart still drive. |

Re: keg needs help
I just found a thread that shows how to bypass the obc. I just did it and the charger is staying on. with the volt meter I am now showing 50.7 at the motor if I am doing it right, with that i guess the obc is bad?
