I saw on a previous post that you had a 2004. You have the IQ system. On older systems you could just unplug the speed sensor on the end of the motor and the system would allow it to work just fine. On an IQ, however, when it senses that the speed sensor isn't hooked up, it'll default the car to 8 MPH.. SLOOOOOOW! You can get a dealer to program your car for the High Speed setting (19.6MPH) or you can get a motor from PlumQuick which has a different magnet that is designed to trick the speed sensor and will allow you to go as fast as you want, within reason. It'll run as fast as the motor can push it.
