Default Re: 2006 Precedent battery question

I've tried a few of these links to buy tires but I'm not even close to finding what I need.

I am looking for new tires for an 06 precedent aired up on rims. How do I order them?

The websites I am clicking on just sell the various parts from what I can tell. They either sell the tires or the rims and then there's all kinds of variations which has me lost.

How do I buy just 4 plain new tires/rims aired up ready to go? Should I just do this locally because it would be too difficult/heavy to buy online?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Call the site sponsors... there are many things they show online but they have way more then what's shown as well. Just call them for the tires and wheels you are looking for...

I bought the tires on rims from one your sponsors. They are scheduled to arrive today.

However, I blew out one of the tires yesterday and it's completely flat. Anyone know what kind of equipment I need to replace these tires? Is this like replacing a car tire?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Are you planning on putting 4 new tires on your old rims? You mentioned that the tires you purchased already are mounted on rims... are you going to mount the new tires and rims on your cart?

And yes, it's like replacing a car tire and you can do it manually, but you should have a couple tire irons or something similar and be extra careful not to scratch the rims, especially if they're alloys. I'm sure others here have tricks they use to do this on a regular basis and can chime in.

Just checked and it looks like I only bought the tires and not the rims. Apparently, you don't get what they put in the photo.

I'm not sure what to do now. I guess I could take the tires to my local dealer and have them put rims on, could I?

Or should I do something else?

Call and ask them if they do that... call a local Golf Cart dealer or shop as well and ask them...

To install Speed Code 4 on my Precedent, is going through a dealer my only option?

I want to do this but trying to get the price down. All of the 3rd party options I was looking at are over $200.

Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, you must go through a dealer in order to purchase the Private Code #4 and have them install it as well. It should be around $100 total but every dealer could charge you something different, each may have different labor rates as well as mark-ups for this service. They'll need the serial number of your cart as well as your controller I believe.

Could I get the price down if I give them that information over the phone so they're only coming out here once?
