Default What Would You Buy.....

I need to buy a 12v accessory battery for my cart to power 2 55w Hella lights and a 3000lb winch.

The batt will be secured in my bag well under the rear flip seat.

-The winch will hopefully almost never be used.
-The lights will be used in the mornings during hunting season and then every now and then in my neighborhood.

So as you can see, this battery will not be used very much.

My dad is trying to talk me into an Optima or a Marine Gel Battery.
I just dont know if I want to drop $200 for this since it wont be used that often.

What would you buy? A shock proof, maint free batt like an Optima, or a Walmart Special (deep cycle of course) for $70?

(If you are going to suggest a wheel chair battery, I've already priced them and they are expensive. If I spend that much I'll just get an Optima with much more CCA.)

A 12 Volt Trojan Golf Car battery would work great... like the ones used in the Precedent and 06+ DS cars.. I've got one in my boat. Best battery I've ever used on a trolling motor.
