Default 86 club engine removal

hey all, i have started and have a few pics and a question to ask. i have started removing the corrosion from the frame and decided to go grey(because i had two cans in the garage). i plan to do the electrical last but decided to pull the motor to check it out, as you can see i got two of the three parts off but the commutator is stuck and wont come off. should it just pull off? thanks for your responces.

That's exactly what happened to mine. I had to end up heating up the spline and beating like hell on the motor to get it off. don't pry too much on the aluminum diff housing, it will surely break

still havent got it yet. i took the axles off and leaf springs and im going to take it to my shop, aircraft motors, golf cart motors? mabye i got a puller that will work. its on there good. i split the case and ofcourse it wont come off that way either. the good news is so far i have only broke one bolt and one shock so far due to corrosion.

try heating the splined portion of the motor up pretty good. I used a prybar with one end against the motor then hit hard with a sledge hammer on the other end. It slowly came off beat by beat. It took enough heat to break the rust free. Good luck, it's not fun.

I finally got the motor off, it took a 5X rivet gun to get it loose. spent the weekend on the golf cart. the motor has a few shorts in it but im hoping its just because the copper is touching i should know more next week. Other than the motor all i need are two shocks a few bushings and the back will be done and off to the front here are a few pics

Ok motor is back on and i brought home a power supply to test the motor, so far nothing??? my question to you all is, will the motor run on 33 volts or does it need 36? I hooked up the power supply and measured the voltage and all i can get out of it is 33.
Thanks all
