solenoid voltage question
having voltage issues with a pre V-glide club car 36 volt, i have 36 volts across the first 4 solenoids, but zero on the fifth which feeds the motor, there are five clicks when accelerator pedal is depressed. this is my first cart and the speed resistors heat up, is this normal? with the wheels off the ground, the motor tries to turn the wheels with some assistance so could this be a motor issue and not the solenoids?

Re: solenoid voltage question
Just because a solenoid clicks doesnt mean it make good connection internally. Try trading out one of the other solenoids or bypass wiring to see if that solves problem.
Be sure and check for bad connections and resistors for broken windings etc.
