To convert a regen cart to a non regen cart?

Who's done the kit? Was it worth it?

I have a lifted 48 volt regen cart that's a pig. I'd love to get some more speed & torque out of it. Was it worth the $$ after you were done? Would you do it again?

I rebuilt my regen back as a regen. I like the function and don't see any advantages of going non-regen.

I like to be able to have control when I go... coast... slow down or stop...

I've had the regen turned off since I got my PlumQuick motor and I love it with the regen OFF!

Ya, I just want the speed & torque a bigger motor and controller will give me. The regen feature is no big deal.

Has anyone done one the conversions?? Was it worth it?

Look at my signature... 28.1 MPH max speed... PlumQuick...

What year? If it's pre 02 all you've gotta do is unplug the speed sensor for the motor and the regen is gone.

See, now that's what I'm talking about!! So, more torque and speed? Did you do all seperate, or did you buy a kit that had everything you needed to do the job with it?

OC, what kind of cart do you have? Year, Model, Tire size. It will make a difference as to your results.

99 48V Club Car, 23" tall tires, 6/8v batteries.
