do away with regen?
Guys,
I have a 2002 club car DS with regen that I want to lift. I was told about plum quick motors, went to their site, and they mentioned that regen will need to be removed with their Bandit - Model #PQ32BCC motor. Do I remove the regen, or does the motor do it for me? I don't really need more speed, but I want torque. Will I need to upgrade controller? Thanks |

Re: do away with regen?
The motor does it for you. On older cars you could just unplug the speed sensor, but on the IQ, if the controller doesn't detect the speed sensor it'll default to 8MPH and you won't like it at all. PlumQuick fools the system by using high speed magnets.
