1986 Club Car Electric 36V
I have a 86 club car 36V that does not move. I replaced the batteries last fall and all worked fine. The batteries all read at high 5 or low 6. I installed new solenoids and cleaned the micro switches; when the accelerator is pressed, all the correct clicking happens. In order to test the brushes, I smacked the motor around a bit, to no avail.
Is a new motor in my future? Something else? Any thoughts on replacing the brushes on a motor more than 20 years old? Or any other advice?
Thanks in advance.
