I have a 2000 1/2 club car. I put in new battries in march 06. About a week or two ago I noticed my charger wasn't shutting off. There was a lot of heat coming out from under the seat. I called in The same guy who has done all my work and who sold me my batteries. They checked the bat. with a hydrometer and said they were ok. That meant the computer was bad. They replaced it. We plugged it back in and in12 hrs it tripped out and the light on the cart was flashing. I unplugged it. they say the batteries are very low and need at least 24 hrs to build up. That sounds fishy to me. The charger isnt suposed to run more than 16 hrs. Dpdn08

tripped the circuit breaker or just turned off? If its the computers first charge, it still may not be fully aware of whats going on. Give it a couple nights of decent charge and see what happens... if still nothing then get upset..
