OBC reset problem
I have a 1999 48 volt Power drive. The other day It just quit on me. After attempting to get it going it finally started to roll very slowly. I charged it and after charging it I started to go, but it moved at first then started to shutter. The guage light would stay on 35 sec and then go off and come back on for 5 sec. Just kept repeating. I came and got on the computer to ask questions. I reset my obc and the light didn't come back on and the meter showed fully charged. I quit at this time. The next day I saw it had returned to the normal state. I charged it for five hours and it still didn't go below 5amp on the charger. I read all batteries and the results were. 8.64 8.66 8.60 8.67 8.25 8.56 The gravity was average of 1.220 on all but one. the one battery was two cells showed no reading and two cells showed 1.210. Can one shorted battery cause the problem I am having with my obc. all batteries are 06 but the one that shows bad it is a 05.

Re: OBC reset problem
Yes.....1 bad battery will wreak havok on the whole system. Try to find a good used 1 instead of a new one. Most local cart dealers will have used batts at a resonable price.
