Default club car electric won't back up and is very slow in forward

I am working on a club car for a friend and it will only go very slow in forward and seems like it has no power, when put in reverse car tries to move but can not. Batteries are fully charged. I have no idea what year it is, it is a 36 volt electric car. car worked fine at end of last year when put away for winter but does't work now. i don't know where to start and any help or ideas would be very helpful

Start with battery readings of individual batteries and then visually inspect all connections. There are some stickys in the club car section to help with battery readings.I know you said batteries are fully charged but..........hope this helps

batteries were load tested and all check out fine, all have 6.2-6.5 volts in them. load test on each indivual battery was good
