Default Trouble finding parts for electric Club Car

I have a Club Car Cadillac that I am having trouble finding parts for. Thanks to the index on Serial Nos. from this site I was able to find out it is a 95. The beginning of the Serial starts with a "B", so I'm guessing someone other than Club Car put the body on it?

I've really been wanting to buy some rims for it and have tried with no success in the past. I went to the local dealer and they said they knew exactly what to get and when they showed up they wouldnt fit on the cart. I'm thinking I need to go with an offset that isn't the standard wheel. The rear tires actually stuck out too far and they wouldnt fit onto the axle because the body was in the way. I'm not sure the measurements on these wheels since the dealer did the ordering and measuring. The dealer was actually not very helpful at all. I did however try to put a friend of mine's wheels on my cart and had the same problem. I know the offset on his wheels was -40mm.

I've also been looking at getting a new seat. My current seat has two separate back pieces and the one I want to order is one piece. I'm assuming since they are just bolt on seat assemblies, I could just replace the whole assembly exchanging the two pieces for one. Does anyone know if they are interchangable?

I'd really appreciate any help and/or information about my cart. I've tried to research my cart online and have only been able to find a couple of pics with no description. I have a photo of my cart on my bio page if anyone is interested in taking a look at it.

Thanks

It sounds like your basic 1995 Club Car has been given a major change with aftermarket body and possibly many other items like wheels, tire size, even suspension changes are possible? As to your seats it sounds like you may have stock type seat backs? Club Car used 2 seperate seat backs until about 2000 when they changed to a single curved unit. I would check size and shape with a stock Club Car seats and remember that most auto upholstery places can recover them for you to match your existing upholstery.
Wheels are another problem completly as there are few differences in "OFFSET" and in your case there is no ONE ANSWER as after market bodys can vary from batch to batch in molds? You may have to use different size wheels and tires from front to rear because of clearance problems? Tire and wheel size changed from stock 18"X8" all are different and You need to do exact measurements when cart is on ground and loaded with normal loads. Also you need to check while wheels are turned from side to side to find spacing to not rub.
What size are your tires on cart now ( it will be on sidewall of tire ) stock is 18"X8.5"X8"?
Hope this helps?

Thanks for the reply. I've been really busy at work, but can get those measurements on Mon or Tues.

If your car has the Cadillac body on it was all the legit emblems, those were sold thru local Cadillac dealers. Some of those parts are not available, but mostly body stuff. I never looked close enough at the wheels to see if there was a difference..but I guess there is. Time to find a wheel with the right off set..a simple measurement and your on your way.
