Controller Size
I have decided on the D&D ES-81 motor with HD F&R Switch, HD Solenoid and 2awg cables throughout. What do you all think about paring the Logisystems 700 amp controller with this? Any other controller suggestions?

Re: Controller Size
I would check with D&D to get some up front help from experts on what they feel is best for you. Be ready to give them info like whether lifted, tire size, etc.

Re: Controller Size
Their motor/controller app on their website states the ES81 with a 700 amp controller will give me 23mph and 70% increase in torque.

Re: Controller Size
I have always liked the Alltrax controllers as they are willing to give great help with any problems that might show up. I have never used a Logicsystem controller so can't comment one way or other?
I would go with whatever D&D recommends for their motor. |

Re: Controller Size
FWIW Juju, I put the ES81 in my dad's cart with an FSIP 700 amp controller, 6" lift and 23" tires and it will do 28 MPH all day long. It will NOT pull the front off the ground but it gets pretty close.

I think will have to upgrade controller to 700amp or 48v batteries for more speed than 22mph. |
