Steering problem
On my 96 CC, if you turn to the left it will barely make a turn. Probably need 20 to 25 ft to make a uturn. Turn to the right and you can do it in less than 10ft. It doesn`t drag or catch anything and now that I have 22" tires on it the left turn is even worse. Whats the best way to correct this and whats causing it?

Re: Steering problem
You need to adjust the length of the drag link on the steering rack..
To adjust: Disconnect the drag link from the passenger side spindle. Turn the front wheels all the way to the right until the steering stop contacts the upper "A" plate. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right until it stops.. Adjust the drag link until it can be reconnected without moving the front wheels or the steering wheel... Reconnect the drag link and check steering travel in both directions.. |
