Cheapest lighting kits?? Where?
My city allows golf carts within city limits if equipped with headlights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, slow moving vehicle sign, and orange flag.
Where can I find the most affordable lighting kit? I was going to use LED flashlights for headlights and red LED lights for tail lights. Total cost is $14 and easily mountable and meet the 500 ft visibility requirement. Turn signals and brake lights are a little more difficult. I simply cannot invest hundreds of dollars into lighting for this particular cart. Thanks |

Re: Cheapest lighting kits?? Where?
Turn signals can be made out of 2-DPDT ( Double Pole Double Throw ) toggle switches and this will allow stop lights to be wired in as well. I have used a 50's chevrolet truck stop light switch which is a swing arm type that can be mounted to work off brake pedal under cart and is cheaper than CC kit. I have a simple wiring diagram that I can send you if needed, contact me by personal message?
