Battery Light
Other day was noticing the battery light comes on for like 30 sec then goes and is continuing to do this does anyone know what would cause this? 2004 clubcar precident

The manual shows three things that can cause this on a Precedent:
Batteries are getting close to full discharge capacity. OBC computer malfunction. Battery or batteries need to be replaced. If your batteries check out then look to your OBC. If it's version 2.05 or earlier most likely you'll have a bad OBC, especially if you have a 2004 Perecedent which were known for many problems with them. Doing a reset on the OBC will insure that if it works after that you've corrected your current problem for the moment. If it doesn't work you'll need a new OBC which was recommended by TahoeDawg in the other thread, and look for version 3.0 when replacing it. |
