Default no reverse, club car ds 02

I changed the positive battery cable and now i have no reverse. can anyone help

Did you flip the Tow/Run switch to the TOW position before you changed the wire? You may have damaged the controller.

I don't remember, I do know I unhooked the positive post on the battery first.

That doesn't matter. The important thing is to flip the Tow/Run switch to tow before doing any kind of work on the wiring. It kills all power to the controller and keeps it from shorting out when you re-attach the wires.

Also, I noticed that when I put the positive lead on the solenoid,the terminal was loose.

Did you tighten it up. Very well could be the problem.
