36v motor up grade
hi> I have a 1990 club cart v glide. I have up graded to all 4guage wire new battries and now have a 6 inch lift kit with 22 lawn pro tires. the cart seems to go much faster and i am really liking all the up grades. so my question what can be done to a stock 36v motor. and if there is some sort of upgrade what can i expect to pay? I like the v glide and it's simplistic approach rather than a pot box and controller set up. can I use a 48 v glide heavy duty switch and keep it a 36v cart. are there any other upgrades I can do and keep it simple.
thanks |

Re: 36v motor up grade
The old 36v CC F&R was a HD unit to begin with. I see no need to change it out. You can buy a bigger motor for 36v. or send your motor out to be rewound for more torque or speed.... for just a few hundred dollars

Check this link: http://www.empinc.biz/motors.php
EMP can rewind your motor and turn it into a switchable motor that allows you to switch from torque to speed modes on the fly. |
