Default 2000 club batteries

my 8 volt batteries show all is at 8 volt or better. once i put them under power, by putting the cart up against a wall and accerating, a couple of the batteries read 6.5 and one reads 4.5. is the latter considered a bad battery?

What's your state of charge? Do they do this when fully charged? If so, then yes.... sounds to me like all of the above numbers are bad.

I had the same thing happen to a new Trojan and had to replace it.

First, I have to ask if you know how dangerous it is to be doing what you are doing. If you are concerned with the condition of your batteries, testing in this method can cause a battery to literally explode.

That being said, yes, I agree with Tahoe, it sounds like the entire pack is bad, with that one being the worst of the bunch.
