Default 2000 club car charging problems

We recently purchased a 2000 club car. It came with a full charge. But when it came time to charge we have not been able to do so.

When i first plugged it in, the amp meter on the charger went up to 15 amps, walked away thinking it would charge overnight but it did not. when i returned the amp meter was at 0. And the battery charge indicator was still at the 1/3 position.

We have not been able to get the charger up to the 15 amps again.

We attempted to reset the OBC but that did not help either.

Are there any solutions to this? is there more information that you need to help me?

The car has 6 8 volt batteries, so it's a 48 volt.

check your pack voltage 1st just to make sure your over 38 volts this is whats needed for charger to work..........you may have a bad OBC but there are afew other things to check 1st.........all cables hooked up right and clean and tight bad wire on rear of charge receptical and the fuse that sits on top................................

check each battery with your meter i think your setting is 200 volts DC........no need to disconnect any cables just put red probe on pos post and black on neg post.........should get a reading of like 8.3 or so...from each battery as for the pack put red probe on #1 batt pos terminal and black probe on #6 batt neg terminal......reading should be approx 53 to 55 volts or so..................you need 38 volts for charger to come on...............also you,ll want to load test batts, for that you,ll need a load tester or someone to help you cause you can use your meter its a little different but you can use it.............................................

It was noted the charger came on but then upon returning the batteries were discharged. I am having the same problem. Apparently enough volts for charger to start but then something happens and you come back and batteries are dead as a doornail!
What else should be checked?
