Default 2000 or 2003?

Looking to buy a cart. Checked a DS with Serial #A0033-921397. Seller says its an '03 but I think an '00. Also is 48V with 6-8V batteries. Batteries are US Battery --121 Amp hr. Cart has a shudder when starting at low speed. Also orange light flashing and lit on dash. Owner says it has always done this. Can someone help on the year model and give advice as to the shudder and batteries. Battery fluid was good in all batteries, however I did not check voltage. He is asking 1800.

looks like a 2000 to me. As for the Shudder, that is a tell tale sign of a bad battery.

Exactly what Rabbitreborn said.... The serial number clearly states that it is a year 2000, week 33. The shuddering is a sign of low voltage, whether it's from a bad battery or batteries is hard to say. It may also be a damaged or nearly broken battery wire or a controller with weak output. It's definitely got issues. You're lucky if it's just battery wires.

Look on the post of the batteries for like C4 or some kind of combination like this, it would mean March 04 batteries, if not there look on the sides of the batts should have month and year to show how old they are.
