OLD MECHANIC'S TRICK-- If you have any doubts where click is coming from take a yard stick and place one end just below your ear and the other end on solenoid or area where you think sound is coming from. This will carry sound to your inner ear and pinpoint click location.

It could be a number of possibilities... This is why I love my IQDM module. Considering all wiring is good, these are the possible problems that can cause this.... 1. Bad keyswitch, 2. Bad OBC (Not supplying ground to controller) 3. Bad controller 4. Bad MCOR. It's nearly impossible to narrow them down to just one without the machine.

Is there a way to test/reset the OBC, i read somewhere about how to do it, does that apply to my cart? Is there any trouble shooting tips I can start to narrow it down? Voltmeter ?

I dont want to take it to the shop where i bought it from unless i have too, plus i was tooking at a better controller upgrade too, but dont want to invest in that if it wont fix it

Thanks again

My back up buzzer isnt working though, does that matter with the reset procedures? it is starting to feel like the F/R switch is acting up. Where do I measure the current with the loadmeter? and should it change with the pedal being pushed and the key on /off

Update

I had the battery disconnected for about 24 hours so i could get at some hardware in there. I reconnected it, and the dumb thing works...Could the OBC reset itself while the battery was disconnected? I would like to know why/how this happened and how it fixed itself.

In essence that is what does reset the OBC... draining it of any power then reconnecting it.

What Scubabud said is very true... If it happens again it's pointing a finger right at a bad OBC.
