Re: Price to high?
when you say "New Batteries" do you mean BRAND NEW or like new?
Are the batteries 8 volt or 12 volt? (before the others chime in... yes, I know in 06 they came with the 12's but it could have been converted to the 8's) $5500 seems like a reasonable price for what you have described. And yes, there are 2 options for Camo..... Wrap it or Dip it. Personally I prefer the wrap, but that's just me.... The picture is a little fuzzy but those look like custom rims and the tires appear to be the Carslile All Trail's. |

Re: Price to high?
8 volt are better but if they haven't done the conversion, you will be stuck with 12 volt.

Re: Price to high?
ok in a nutshell......
to acheive 48 volts, there are 3 ways to get there.... 8 - 6 volt batteries 6 - 8 volt batteries 4 - 12 volt batteries Listed in order of best to worst. The reason more batteries is better is the "pedal down time". by spacing the current draw over more batteries, you are allowing the batteries to work less thus increasing the amount of time they can work. unfortunately, very few cars come right off the factory line running 8 - 6 volt batteries (Par Car being the exception to this rule). The Precedent you are considering purchasing originally came with 4 - 12s. Club car has gotten numerous "complaints" regarding reduced run time using this configuration so they have since started offering the same car in a 6 - 8s configuration and also offer a retrofit kit for the carts already out there to be converted to 6 - 8s. |

Re: Price to high?
ok thanks i asked him how many batteries it had now to think of it he said four so its a 12 volt system. It should be ok though if it doesnt last long enough ill convert it. What's the expected running time on a full charged 12 volt system?

Re: Price to high?
I get 20+ miles per charge with my use and I have 4 12v batteries. Actual running time will depend on what speeds you maintain or average as well.
