Welding work on electric Club car
I am presently thinking of modifying my 99 CC and this might involve some electric welding.
Since this is an electric cart, is there any special things to do beside removing the batteries ?
I am not too knowlegeable in electric cart but wish not to burn any of my electrical components.
Can anyone tell me the '' DONT DO'' ?

Re: Welding work on electric Club car
Without knowing what model 1999 CC ( many variations in that year alone ) you have I would first find out whether you have a solid state electronic controller which could be damaged by welding. To be on safe side I would diagram the connections and remove the controller unit until after welding is done.
