Default Redhawk rear seat ?

So I have a 1990 cc 36v in my garage right now that I am redoing for the in-laws and I have a question. I am installing a Redhawk flip flop rear seat and having trouble understanding how they want me to remount the backs of the front seat. It is the 2 piece seats and if I am reading the instructions right they way they want me to mount them is never going to hold up or work to begin with. Just wanted to know if any one has installed one of these before and if so how did they do it? If some one has pics that would be great. I''l throw some pics on here so you guys can see how its coming.

That looks just like the kits I use. I assume they are telling you to remove the small aluminum brackets that were on the original seat supports and install them on the new seat supports correct? What is the issue?

That is what I wound up doing but the instructions were not too clear on that so I didn't know for sure. I also put some support inside the tube were it bolts to the body because I noticed that I was crushing the tubes and they moved all around when I tightened them up. Thanks for the reply I will put some new photos up when I get a chance to take some.
