Default are batteries really

$160 each now? trojan 12V wow

i am going to need some probably by the end of the year -

1) is there a typical time of year these ever go on sale?

2) anyone used AGM batteries?

3) as last resort has anyone around the southeast found a source for good used batteries? yikes used batteries

Thats cheap compared to Club Car price at about $240 each? plus installation?? If you do like most Precdent owners and CONVERT TO 8 VOLT BATTERYS it will only hurt one time and then its all over? Conversion to 8 volt batterys cost about $400 plus Labor if you need it done ( indications are its an easy job ) and NEW 8 volt batterys. Battery life can double and MUCHO MORE POWER RANGE. This is the reason Club Car has gone back to 8 volt batterys in newer Precedents.

That's actually a really good deal. As mentioned above, retail price is actually way over $200.00 each for these things. Our customers would love us if we sold them for $160.00 each. lol

Yeah I was just thinking the same thing... We are charging close to $200 for either Trojan or Interstate......

Yep we are too.. Somewhere around $192 I believe.

did they go up dramatically recently? I was thinking that the 4 12V were about the same as 6 8V but they are not even within $150

Dramatic price increase is usually the first step to obsolescence.

My shop sells :

(6) 6 volt $594
(6) 8 Volt $711
(4) 12 volt $780

Prices have been stable for at least the last 6 months.
