Re: 97 club car ds doesnt move
Lots of folks on here smarter than me but the first thing I would try is hooking up a voltmeter to the pack(remove the seat or run the wires under the seat so you can see the volt meter), hold the brake and press the accelerator for just a second or two and see what happens to the pack voltage. I would think that would at least tell you whether the cart is trying to draw from the pack or possibly has a short.

Re: 97 club car ds doesnt move
Hopefully some of the experts will jump in here but if you pressed the pedal down at least halfway for several seconds, I believe the voltage should have dropped more than that if there was a good connection between the batteries and motor. I don't know what sits between the pack and the motor but that's where I would be looking. Anyone else???

I can send you something that will probably help but need your email. Can you send me a private message?

Re: 97 club car ds doesnt move
your pack voltage is only dropping .3 volts with car in gear and pedal depressed? Sounds like a solenoid not activating to me. Have you checked the avtivation circuit (2 small posts) of the solenoid for power with cart in gear and pedal down?

Re: 97 club car ds doesnt move
not sure there is only one solenoid the cart will try to move i done some more checking and the plug coming from pedal is a 3 wire from one of the prongs to the other is 5k with edale depressed one side stays at 5k the other drops down to like 3.5k should it dorp to 0 with the pedal fully depressed
