Default Rocker Panel 01 Club Car Polish Up

Has anyone removed the black insert on the stock rocker panel an then polished the aluminum? Thoughts?

yes I have done it.... spent way too many hours and got a nice "chrome" finish on one once.... then I went out and bought diamond plate inserts because it was impossible to keep clean.

If you do decide you want to try it, I used Colonel Brassy and Major Shine to polish mine up. Looked great for about a week.
