slow cart
My neighbor was driving his 05 48 v precedent the other day and his speed went down to 8mph, did not hit anything just driving on the road. I know the speed sensor will default to 8 mph if it goes bad. My question is will they go bad just driving along like that. He said he heard a pop noise from some where but could not tell from where. If it was the controller it would not move at all right.. thaks for the help

rgw "pop" noise may have been the speed sensor popping out of the motor?
