i,m still trying to figure why the cart keeps going dead? has to be an issue there if in fact its dead batteries..........................

rabbitreborn & scottyb- I pm'd both of you earlier on my problem, if you wish to look at again. Tomorrow I should get solenoid #4.

onebigbandgeek- back to the problem at hand. I think you need a different mechanic. I have a 94 cc and know the wiring diagram inside & out....when the charger is plugged in, the charge goes directly to the battery. The solenoid is not part of the charging system. It is only activated when the key is on, and the gas pedal pressed. There may be 2 different problems here, and it's not your house.

I would first make sure your gas pedal microswitch is working correctly. You should hear a small click every time the pedal is pushed in a small triangular box under the driver.

Thanks for all of the responses! Yes, the click is there and I feel the microswitch is most likely working.

I am getting a second opinion from another mechanic. I will post results as soon as I get them.
