Default Club Car factory lights

I am wanting to buy a Club Car DS that has the factory lights already installed on it. First of all, did CC only put lights on the ones they sold to private customers, or did they also sell them to courses? Second, what kind of voltage reducer do they use? Lastly, do the tail lights also act as brake lights when you brake (even when the headlights are turned off)? Thanks, I'm just curious.

not sure what all carts they put lights on and there is morn than likely a voltage reducer....as for if the rear lights are also brake lights just step on brake and see if they come on..................or on the underside of brake pedal there will be a small box..........i do think the factory wiring is set up so you can add the brake lights and turn signals if you desire, you may have to buy a kit to get that stuff but everything you need is in the kit.............................

I don't have a cart that currently has lights on it, but I am probably going to buy one in the near future. I was just wandering how the factory lights worked.

that all depends on the kit, some have brake lights turn signals flashers, but that kit is more$$$$$$$ than the one with just front and rear driving lights......start looking your gonna come across a ton of them............................
