Default CC 2006 Precedent Battery Light Error Code

Does anyone have a chart of the error codes for this cart? Fully charged, plugged into to charger, my battery light comes on for 30 seconds and off for 10 then repeats until I unplug it from the charger.

So it's one of a few things. I am guessing it is my charger since I have dropped it twice now... :-/ How do I test for the things it is saying? It still runs good. Batts are getting full charge. 50.8 pack voltage after a few hours of rest. What should I test first?

P.S. Thanks scuba. Somehow I knew you would be the one to give me the right answer.

Really it's saying that the charger was cut short of it's charge time buy an AC outage, the OBC has an issue or you have battery problems. If the charger is working and giving your batteries a good charge then maybe it's still OK.

Will your charger charge your batteries and shut down BEFORE 16 hours?
Try to reset your OBC by using the stickies above.
Test each battery voltage to see if they are consistent with each other, not just the total pack voltage.

My Cart did the warning light thing once... was trailering it to Ft Wilderness with a full charge and when I got there the warning light was cycling. I used the cart without problems and once I charged it overnight that was the last I saw of the waring light issue. In my case I believe it was a fluke with the OBC that never happened again.

Thats a big 10-4. I will check it all this weekend and report. Thank you again Scuba.

Oh... What is the normal charge time that it should take to fully charge batteries? Say I run them down to 50%. How long should it take?

I was afraid you would ask me that... Usually when I'm done with my cart it's around 10-11 PM... I throw it on the charger and it's usually done by 7-8 AM. But that is when I go out and look... so who knows... LOL I've heard some say 6-8 hours... and others 10+ hours... hopefully someone else will chime in on what they feel 12v batteries take in hours to charge from a 50% status.

It all depends on the condition of the batteries. Better batteries will accept a charge more quickly than older worn out ones.... It all depends. The only way to really tell is by getting a specific gravity reading with a hydrometer when they're fully charged.
