Default 95 Club Car won't go/engine stutter

Hey guys, I got a 95 club car that won't move and just kind of stutters when the gas pedal is depressed in forward or reverse.

Good volts (6 and some change) per battery, with like 39.2 volts for the entire pack. Please don't tell me to check my battery connections. I have. They are tight on the battery and no slop in the fittings.

Solenoid clicks when gas pedal is depressed and DOES put out voltage so no need to jump it. Voltage output from the solenoid to what I believe is a controller (seen easily when rear access panel is removed) is around 32-36v.

From there the motor just kind of shakes and tries to turn over. This cart had been sitting for god knows how long in some woman's garage and now it is our problem. Let me know what you guys think.

36 or 48 volt cart? if it's 48 volt batteries need charging or they are shot.

I agree as well, however I would also suggest that the battery voltage test be done "under load". The voltages look good for a 36 volt, but I have a feeling that is a dormant test and not a load test.

my 96 studders as well. Batteries test at 8.1-8.2 so 48 volts plus. How do you do a load test and what should it read. The stutter is like there is not enough power to the motor. Suggestions please. It has been great up to now and we miss using it on our B&B.

1st poster sounds like a 36 volt cart with one or more dropping under load...............need to get a battery load tester and test them you,ll find it......last poster 8 volt batteries same thing you have a bad one somewhere.....check voltage of each one and if all hold good voltage than load test you,ll find it.............remember guys it only take one battery to drop 3 to 4 volts and you,ll get that studder........................................
