Ok guys. I just checked the controller voltage. I have 50 volts at full pedal press at the red wire. Still the motor hardly turns the tires?

How much voltage should I have at the motor? I just checked and I have 52 volts at all 4 posts

ok I'm completely confused then... If you are reading 50 volts across the B+ and M- on the controller you should be turning at full RPM.....

I believe you can check the amperage across those same 2 posts, but don't quote me on that.

The only other thing I can think of is a fried motor causing the cart to run slow. If the Brushes are worn bad or the field has fried.......

you will have 50 volts on all 4 posts..... the only way to test a motor that I am aware of is to apply voltage directly to the motor.

Assuming it is a series motor:

Jack up the rear and support on jackstands.
Key off, cart in neutral.
run a jumper wire from B- on the controller to M- on the controller (minimum of #6 wire)
double check that jackstands are secure.
turn on key.
Cat in forward.
Press and release accellerator pedal. DO NOT HOLD PEDAL TO THE FLOOR!
you will be applying FULL voltage to the motor so expect a violent reaction!

If motor turns, motor is good, controller is bad.

If motor fails to turn:
Key off, Cart in neutral
Make another jumper (also 6 gauge minimum) and jump across solenoid large posts.
put cart in gear and then back to neutral

If motor now turns, replace solenoid.
If motor still fails to turn, you have a bad motor.

Ok. I did your test and the motor turned good. I now need to know the correct controller and I need a silanoid. Also where to buy them . Thanks

When did the motor turn good? When you jumpered the controller or when you jumpered the solenoid?

I had to do both. I fried the solenoid when I was testing.
