Electric Car SLOW taking off
Hey guys!! Just joined the forum and new to learning how to educate/repair/work on my golf cart. I purchased a 2004 Precedent golf cart two years ago that had new Trojan batteries installed. The place I bought it from (I think) gave me bad advice on charging the batteries. It is left at a beach house and he told me to leave it plugged in even while I am away for weeks at a time. I didn't really know about filling up the batteries with water and they got VERY low. Now when I try to take off it is really slow!! Top end speed is still good. Could this mean my batteries need replacing? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance for any assistance!!
