selenoid troble

this is a 1995 club car ds 48 volt power drive it came to me with what appered to me was a selinoid problem it would click but nothing ok i changed it got it to run ok started to change the batterie cables cause they looked bad changed the frist three and the obc smoked ok cart still runs im changing the obc tommarow but my troble is the selinoid does not click but car still runs the selinoid is not turning of stays on i check the micro stiwch on the little blk box under the floor and it is good now im lost cables where put on right on the batteries
