Green Wire Help
Hope someone can help. I am trying to get our cart charged up. Thought that our charger was bad, and the shop gave us one to use. It didn't kick on. Batteries are a year old but they were dead. A quick look under the seat and we found the green wire with one end disconnected. It looks like the terminal broke off but we can't see thewhere it went. I believe one end is connected to the FR switch. Where does the other connect? I understand about getting the charger to kick in by jumping to another cart. Just wondering where the green connects. I found a wire diagram but colors are not listed. It is the 88-03 electric club car wiring diagram with v-glide. Any help would be great.

Re: Green Wire Help
When asking forum for help please give following MAKE, MODEL, VOLTAGE, SERIES OR REGEN-SEPEX if unknown please send complete serial number from below passenger glove box on frame. What year is your CC and model? Is it a resistor or solid state controled system?
The following are only guesses without knowing which CC you have. It sounds like possible bad connection between charger receptical and battery pack, or bad connection from one battery to another? Have you checked and cleaned all cable connections? In our area near ocean we have lots of problems with corrosion inside charger receptical on cart that doesn't allow charger to feel batterys and so wont turn on. PLEASE ADVISE NEEDED MODEL ETC INFO ON YOUR CART. |
