Sorry, I have never heard of a motor that goes in 1 direction no matter how you flow power through it......

1994 36v club car back up . after checking motor every way i could , and it seem to be good , i ordered a brand new rebuilt speed control . i put it on and the cart moved when i pressed the pedel . i can only think that a speed controler can go bad in such a way that it would make the wires going to the motor short out . thanks for every ones help .
