Default Re: IQ eletrics

I have a cart IQ 2001, It does not run. The solenoid is not getting power (sometimes) I jumpered across the solenoid -- does not go. Where does it get it control power. From foot switch? or is power from controller to the footswitch. Wiring schematics I have are hard to follow.

Help!!

If you are not getting 48 volts of power to solenoid it is because of a cable or battery or fuse problem? WARNING BEFORE DOING ANY WORK ON BATTERYS OR CABLES REFER TO YOUR OWNERS MANUAL FOR CORRECT PROCEDURE. Have you checked condition of batterys either with a digital volt meter or hydrometer? Most often its cable connections, so remove each cable at batterys and clean and replace any questionable cables. You may or may not have a fuse either located at #1 battery solenoid side or on controller so check for one?
