when i do a 95 with a bad OBC my highest price was 500.00 but that included a new set of cables , changing the light on dash and most important was replacing the grey wire with fuse that came with the kit ( anyone who has changed one of those knows its not a 5 minute job )......and testing and load testing batteries the whole shbang.........this also was due to the fact i would get the cart on friday night and they wanted it back by saturday morn so the kids could ride..........so if i was out there until 4 or 5 AM before i started their cart i charged a bit extrx for my lack of sleep...............it was tough having 15 people come by friday night and all of them wanted their cart 1st and i only had a day and a half or 2 days if lucky to try and please everyone which was a total waste we all know how that goes.........i loved my customers who said tom i,m going to drop my cart off with a list and get to it when you can.......those customers benefited from the price i charged....................................

That is what I was saying would be more than willing to help. Heard bad things of Century, know other places that could do it but hey would help him do the complete job, including the grey wire (yes is a pain in the butt). Not really a bad job overall. Offer made.

disconnect the obc and put a electronic board in your charger for around $100, I have done this and it works great. [or get a automatic charger] kirk

I had a 97 CC last year that the OBC went bad on. I found a replacement from a place in Nevada I think(not site sponsor, so I won't name them) for around $190. Was told it was new, not remanufactured. It took me a little over an hour and a couple of beers to install, but the cart charged like it was supposed to after I got through.

I think you are getting hosed pretty badly at $800.

Ok I get mine from a former sponsor 1 day shipping to my location so it isn't bad for me. I have 4 carts that I work on all with same OBC, kept 1 on hand till all 4 were replaced, and would have worked on this one. This job takes no time, and he could bring it out here or I could go to where he is at. He hasn't answered so he doesn't care.
